About Braxton *On Trial in His New Home*
*BRAXTON IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Looking for a well-behaved Labrador without going through the pesky puppy-stage??? Then you can’t go past cool, calm and collected Braxton!
Surrendered for rehousing due to his owner moving overseas Braxton is a true gentleman who always approaches humans in a friendly yet gentle manner, showing off his winning smile then coming close for pats before finally resting his head softly against you to show his appreciation. He’s described as a laidback kind of dog who gets on well with everyone – people of all ages, dogs of all shapes and sizes, and he even gets along well with cats. He doesn’t demand attention but will wait for pats and then gaze lovingly at the person giving them to him. Braxton’s calm demeanour and placid nature make him ideal for a home with children.
Delightful Braxton is happy being outside exploring the garden, and he’s just as happy cuddled up on a mat in the house – wherever his humans are Braxton will be. He is toilet-trained and has lovely manners while indoors moving cautiously and being mindful of what and who is close by. We would want to see an indoor / outdoor lifestyle continued in his forever home.
Braxton enjoys going for a walk and can get a little bit excited to begin with when transitioning from the backyard to the street, but calms down once he has reached the pavement and found his walking rhythm. He has had basic training so knows “sit” and we reckon he’d enjoy learning some more commands (especially if there were treats involved!) as Braxton is an intelligent dog who likes to please his humans. He also enjoys travelling in a ute!
This gorgeous guy would love the company of another dog in his forever home if you were to work long hours.
So if Braxton sounds like the affectionate all-rounder for your loving home please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
