Sheena

Sheena is a nervous girl needing a patient, caring person to give her unconditional love.

We feel a foster carer might also be a great option in helping this feline build her confidence.

Sheena can be frightened of other cats so sadly spends much of her day tucked away in her box watching from a distance. She has begun to see that some of our cats are total sweethearts and allows our best-behaved kitties to sleep near her and share her space.

Our volunteers spend time with Sheena talking with her and giving her treats, allowing her time to get to know them. Sheena can now be seen far more often coming out of her box and lying in a spot with a nice view of the cattery and has even begun taking treats from our carer’s hands.

Whilst it has been a slow process to gain Sheena’s trust, she is showing us great signs that she will come out of her shell for the right person. Sadly, the cattery can be quite busy, so Sheena will not progress with trust nearly as fast as if she were in a loving, understanding home. We just need one very special person to give this girl a chance. If you feel you can be that special person, please speak with Karren to arrange to meet Sheena.
