About Sam
Sam is a soft boy.
With a soft coat and personality, this adorable boy would do great in a confident defined home with another dog. He has a red road cattle dog coat underneath his fur colouring but his personality and cuddly personality is that of a true Labrador.
He won’t suit being an only dog so a confident and playful dog that can help him conquer the world is best suited. He has met all types of dogs including seniors and puppies and is social with all.
He has also met cats and these tend to frighten him, but he is friendly with interacting with them.
He has shown to be a soft boy who is a bit shy especially around the head. So a home happy to take things slow when he is unsure is best suited.
Calm and collected kids would suit him best and ones that enjoy a snuggle.
He is not too high energy and would suit a walk a day. He doesn’t really do much in his day but sun bathe currently.
He must be allowed inside in his new home to be close to his new family, he is well mannered and advancing well with his basic obedience, toilet training and crate training and would great in a home that continues these.
Fencing 5ft and over is best suited but he is suitable to rural fencing also.
Sam is located in Rutherford and his adoption fee is $400.

If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
