About Diego
Diego is fantastic with children and will play ball ever so gently but enthusiastically for hours and loves anything that moves...and squeaks!
He has lived harmoniously with my 6 cats but as is typical for a terrier will chase them if they run, so he would not be suitable in a home with timid or elderly cats.
He greets everyone that he sees with enthusiasm and so far this has also extended to other dogs, although not extensively tested he did meet a variety of dogs of all shapes and sizes and made friends with every single one!
Due to Diego's terrier breeding I would not recommend he go to a home with.....well.....anything that runs.....or flys!!
So if you have chickens, rabbits or Guinea pigs I don't think he could tear himself away!!
He is full of energy and does not stop often but when he does he likes to be a lap dog!
Diego shows no signs of separation anxiety and will happily relax in a crate when no ones home. Though of course he would prefer to be with you!
He has had no accidents inside but as he was only recently desexed, at the moment if not supervised he will still "mark" inside. Hopefully now he's had his surgery and combined with some training this behavior will soon be behind him.
And speaking of training he has just commenced clicker training and is a star!! He loves to learn and is one smart pupper!!
Diego will make a great addition to an active family with a fenced yard.
