About Milly Lilly
Milly is the most adorable bundle of joy, she does not let the fact that she has fading eyesight get her down at all, she lives a very full life, with outside access she is a clean girl. Milly is a bit of a couch potato and even comes with her very own set of stairs.
Milly would love a home as the only pet in the household, she takes some time to get used to another small dog, but with patience she will live happily with another calm little dog like herself, it will be a transition period.
If you can offer this special girl a home do fill out an expression of interest in her. She is so delightful and deserves her happy ever after with a special someone.
Make sure you go through her pictures and watch her special video.
Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Chermside, Jindalee, Browns Plains or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant X-rays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heartworm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
When Milly came into care, she had mammary tumors and a hernia. These growths were removed when she was desexed, and histopathology performed to which they tested as benign. Her hernia was repaired and she has healed well.
.
She has arthritis and low-grade patella luxation not requiring surgery. We have thoroughly x-rayed Milly's joints and the best thing for Milly is to continue losing weight and taking daily arthritis supplements.
Milly suffers car sickness, she will come with medication that helps her travel.
She has deteriorating vision, but with access to outside she will be a clean girl inside but might have the odd accident. This beautiful old girl just needs a stable and patient loving home to retire to.
