Hello, I'm Doug and I'm hanging out at the shelter hoping my new family will come soon and take me home.

I can be a bit shy when first meeting new people but I soon warm up and will show my loving personality. I love people and would be happiest being the only animal at home so I can get all of your love for myself.

A daily stroll around the neighbourhood will help keep me in tip top shape.

I do seem to have a flea allergy so I will require regular flea treatment and baths to keep those nasty fleas away.

I love my food and sometimes I will get a bit grumpy if you try to touch my food while I'm eating so I just like to be left alone to eat in peace.

If you have a nice quiet home where we can hang out together as much as possible then I just may be the dog for you.
