On Hold
Margie was born at the end of December 2016, her mother Marley was surrendered to us by a family in Woolgoolga, in the middle of November 2016. They weren’t sure whether she was pregnant or not. It did not take long for the pregnancy to be confirmed. Margie is a bit shy when you first meet her but if you are willing to spend the time she will learn to trust you and then will be your very loyal and loving companion. She has lovely friendly nature once she knows you. Margie needs some training as all teenagers do! She is crate trained and loves playing with her friends but would be better as a single dog with someone at home most of the time. She would make a loyal companion dog. She has been desexed, immunised, micro-chipped, regularly wormed, deflead and is ready to go to her new home.
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
