About Bruce
Bruce is a 14 week old kelpie puppy. He has settled in very quickly to family life with 2 active dogs and 2 young human kids. He shows interest in fetching a tennis ball and has already learned to sit on command (most of the time).
Bruce has been on a lead a few times but will need lots more exposure to walking on a lead. Most of his walks with his foster family have been off lead- his recall is quite good for such a young puppy and he really enjoys human companionship. He would suit a home with or without dogs.
Bruce's new family must be willing to give him the exercise he will need as he gets older (both off lead runs and on leash walks). Bruce is a great puppy, who is inquisitive but is also timid at times of new experiences (like bubbles!). He has started toilet training and crate training but both of these will need a bit more work.

** Please note as a condition of adoption you must be able to take Bruce to one of our vets in Boronia, Cheltenham, Moe or Yarraville in about a months time for desexing.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
http://farmdogz.com.au/adoption-application-form/
3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.
**PLEASE NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US BEFORE FILLING IN OUR ONLINE ADOPTION FORM**.
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
