RESCUE ADOPTION IN THE ILLAWARRA
Feast your eyes on this beauty.....Our rescue boy Riki is a 6 year old Siberian Husky. His colouring is Wolf/Grey/Caramel and he has whitish blue eyes.He truly is a wonderful boy. He is well behaved... Gets on when walking with other dogs but would prefer to be an only fur baby in family ... No kitties sorry... He is good with kids and is very placid and relaxed...He loves the outdoors but likes access to a room or garage etc if family are not home and also wants to be part of the family when family is home and sleep inside with his humans... He loves going on outings and he does pull on leash a bit when he is excited.. Great with food. You can take it away and he will sit patiently waiting for it to return.. He is not a jumper or a digger and is an all round lovely boy .. he would make a great companion .. Please complete the application below if you think Riki might be the fur baby to join your family
Adoption details
We are a small ethical rescue who tries hard to rehome fur babies safely to loving forever homes
We do a Trial period is for 14 days to make sure the rescue pet suits the family's needs in a pet for them
We miss our rescues when they go on trial...so please send us a photo every second day at the least.
Any concerns/ issues within trial period - please let us know immediately so we can assist you with them.
And organise any treatment if it’s a medical issue or concern.
At the end of the trial period (or earlier if its love at first sight) please contact us to let us know your decision/ how you are feeling re: adopting.
All worming, flea, tick, vaccinations and any vet costs will not be covered by rescue after the trial period unless previously discussed and agreed upon by us (in special circumstances).
All Pups and dogs come with vaccinations covered by us until the end of trial period. They will be up to date with Flea, tick, heart worm/ all worm treatments when they commence the trial.
We arrange and pay for desexing of Pups when the Pup is old enough to have it done.
Adoption fee is required within one week of final decision being made. (See Deposit details in about section)
Once payment has been processed we will
request a photo of our lucky ex rescue/s in their forever home. Preferably with their new family.
This is so we can post our ex Rescue with their new family and share the excitement with our followers, sponsors, and of course us volunteers 😃🎉
We do understand there are circumstances where this is not preferred/ possible. If so, a nice photo of your new family member would be sufficient
We will then arrange to deliver any Veterinary information/ records & some paperwork for you to complete through your local council. This can be completed either online or in person.
For puppies we will send all ownership paperwork after the pup has been desexed
**Change of ownership and microchip is to be completed by the new owner within 2 weeks of receiving paperwork otherwise fines from the council may be incurred**
Once these steps have been finalised you will officially be Best Friends Forever 😃🐶🐱❤️ x
