Looking for a dog who you can train, and who needs lots of mental stimulation but don't like going for 2 hour walks? Looking for a cat that is a LOT of cat both physically and mentally? Dax is a huge personality who may be just your type!
Fun Fact: Dax originated in India, but migrated to Australia years ago!
He was surrendered due to a change of owner circumstances.
Dax is an affectionate, playful and cheeky cat who is full of energy and zest. It is hard not to fall in love with this vocal and demanding goofball the minute you meet him!
You need to be able to read his cues for when he is not keen to be picked up, but he does enjoy lap time when in the mood!
Dax cannot live with other cats; he is bigger than everyone and he knows it!
He has a special skill of stealing fish from the neighbour's net covered ponds!
He would need outdoor time, having lots of energy and inquisitiveness. A large cat run or better yet a large property would be ideal.
Dax is an expert food thief and opener of fridges, but his previous family kindly donated child-locks to help with this!
Dax will thrive in an adult household with committed cat people, who will fall in love with his smarts and raw feline energy!
