About Shirley
Little Shirley was surrendered with Nancy (now adopted) after their owner went into a nursing home with dementia. They hadn’t had any vet care for a while, and were in desperate need of a dental.....which has been done at desexing.
Shirley is so much happier since coming into care, and now being able to eat anything that’s offered with no pain....she loves kibble! A very easy little dog to welcome into my care, she comes in and out of the house through the doggie door and is completely toilet trained. She loves the company of the other dogs, whether it be Nancy or one of the other dogs. She is very friendly with every human she meets, and absolutely adores her foster Mumma. She is learning how to walk on leash. She travels well in the car.
All she now wants is for her forever family to find her, she would like her forever people to be around more often than not, and doesn’t want them to be full time workers please.
Tell us what you can offer Shirley. What are your work hours and how long would she be alone during the day, if at all. Do you have other pets? Do you have kids?
We are located in Moree, northern NSW, but we have daily flights to Sydney and beyond. Also road transport comes through Moree every fortnight....next trip Aug 28th. Either of these are easy to arrange at new owners cost.
Medical notes
Vet checked. Had a dental at the time of desexing. Has a luxating patella on one back leg, which vet is happy for no surgery. Shirley runs around happily, can go up and down steps easily. Holds that leg up when running.
Weighs 2.7kgs
