Sprout

Hi my name is Sprout and I am a 3-year-old pocket rocket. I have learnt so many cool things with my foster family and my foster fur siblings. In my house, there are 3 cats and a huge doggie as well as another small one like me.

I never knew life could be so exciting, I found out about a thing called walking and I am allowed to smell the trees and the bushes as many times and for as long as I want. When I come back snuggles and a nap on the couch is the only thing I want to do.

Life isn't without it's challenges, I still get nervous with all the new experiences so will need to be in a home without any children and with someone that can support me to feel comfortable with all the new things I have to get used to. I am learning to travel in the car without being scared, that my fur siblings won't steal my food, and that my humans won't steal my bed. I am still in the very early stages of toilet training, I don't wake anyone up at night as I can go all night without going to the toilet.

I would be happy to have a doggy playmate in my new home, and I'm not fussed about sharing with a cat either. My new family need to be able to see when I'm a bit stressed and continue to work on my resource guarding like what my foster family have already been doing then I know I'm going to be such an amazing little pup.

When on the Petrescue Profile push "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts. In the message section please place information about the home you can provide. This includes current/past pets, children, and any other information you can provide. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 working days. Please note all of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of animals are in a foster home not at the shelter.
