Wilbur

Hello! My name is Wilbur and I am a calm and gentle mastiff cross pup.

My foster mummy says that I am a true gentleman. I think she means that I am a polite pup. I don't jump or nibble or do those other cheeky things that some pups like to do. Personally, my favourite thing to do is chill out and lay around wherever you are.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I do like to play, but I know there is a time for play and a time to be calm and quiet. I love to cuddle up at my foster family's feet and especially in their laps. Cuddles are the best thing in the whole wide world for a pup like me.

I would have to say my favourite game is tug-of-war with the other pooches in my foster home. I enjoy wandering around the yard, playing tumblies and lazing in the sunshine on those chilly days too.

I suppose I sound like I am a rather laid back pup. Well... I am, but I am not lazy - just content. Life is so nice now that I make the most of every opportunity to be loved and give love.

I am still learning those puppy basics like toilet training and sitting for my dinner and treats, but I am learning quickly. I always sit for my pats. That's a rule in my foster home so we puppies don't jump on people.

I like to be around people and other dogs so would love to be an inside/outside dog in my forever home. I would be sad and lonely outside by myself all the time. I am a good pup and sleep quietly in my crate in my foster mummy's bedroom at night time. Would you let me sleep inside at your home?

I am such a calm and placid pup that everyone likes me, even the cat. She is a strange creature and has the oddest bark but she doesn't mind when I sniff her to say hello.
