Obsidian is a little spunk! He LOVES his feline companions whether they are his sisters or the resident cats. Mind you, his love and smooches are not always welcomed. He would be suited to a home with an older male or female cat for company and to snuggle up to once they get to know each other.
Obi was born away from people and his mum only brought him back to the family when he was five weeks old. This means that it has taken a little time for him to like people. He is still a little head shy and tends to run away when you are standing, but if you are sitting on the couch, the floor or in bed, he loves a pat and a snuggle. He is an excellent sleeper, he settles down when it's time for bed and sleeps in the middle of the big bed with his sisters until it is time to get up.
He is a really beautiful boy who will blossom given time and patience, and another cat will help him adjust. If you are looking for a pair, his sister Opal is also looking for her forever family.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Complete our adoption form either by:
a. Going to our website application form https://www.dandycatrescue.org.au/application/
b. Emailing up at dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and requesting an application form
2. Call us on 0413 938 250 for more information about your kitty of choice.
3. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home
4. If your adoption is successful we ask that you pay the nominated fee to us in cash either at the adoption day or at the home visit. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions or online banking transfers at this stage.
5. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty which will include a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership form that must be completed and paid by you ($15 fee applies) no later than four weeks after the adoption.
