About Beep
His tiny boy was found wandering the streets of a rural town and taken to the Pound. He was emaciated, extremely matted, frightened of humans and had no microchip. He would not eat. So after a vet consult and blood test (normal) he came into foster care with me. The first thing we needed to establish was this......Was it that he COULDN’T eat, or that he WOULDN’T eat?
Very quickly I learned that Beep likes particular foods and will eat what he wants very happily! I also learned that he has a HUGE personality and will let you know what he wants and when he wants it - he has a very loud bark, if you haven’t got his request quite right!
Beep is now putting on weight (he was 1.6kgs on arrival, and his most recent weight was 2kgs) and his new favourite food is BBQ chicken and Black Hawk kibble.
He is a chap who has mastered my doggie door and comes and goes as he pleases. He absolutely loves being outside in the sunshine however, and spends lots of his day out there. He also loves cuddles, if you are walking around with him in your arms, he is as happy as a clam. Once you sit down, he will stay on your lap for a while and then he’s off, things to do!
Beep gets on with all the other dogs at my place, but is just as happy with his own company. He travels well in the car, as long as he is not in a travel crate, when he barks non-stop. Having said that, barking is not a problem at any time, apart from when he is confined in a crate.
Beep needs a patient home, where he can take his time getting to know you. He needs his space, and he must have a well fenced garden. He would NOT suit a home with children.
We are situated in Moree, northern NSW, and his forever family must be prepared to drive and collect him. He cannot fly to you.
Medical notes
Vet checked. Weighs 2kgs. Had a dental with several teeth removed. Left patella luxates but has no problems walking or running, and no treatment required. No medications.
