About Holly
When you see this lively and sociable young pooch it is hard to believe she once suffered a debilitating injury to her pelvis. After many weeks of medical care and restricted exercise, Holly is finally free to be a puppy again, and thanks to our AWL vets she can run, jump and play without pain.
Holly greets new friends and adventures with zest so would best suit an active family with time for daily walks and playtime. This young girl is quick to learn and loves to work hard for tasty treats so teaching her some fun new tricks at home should be a breeze. Ongoing training will be a must for this energetic girl as she will need some guidance to become the well-mannered and confident pooch the staff here know she can be. Ask us about some fun and creative enrichment ideas to take home; Holly loves a food puzzle as much as the next dog!
Holly can be wriggly and enthusiastic when meeting new humans, which may be a bit overwhelming for the littlest family members; children with some big dog experience would be most ideal. Holly has been enjoying social interactions with other dogs here at the shelter, and though she sometimes forgets her manners, has the potential to be a great pal to a fellow canine. A commitment of love, time and energy is all Holly asks so that she can continue learning and thriving in life. If you feel your home needs a Holly, please come and meet her at the shelter!
