Yindi

Hi there, my name is Yindi which is an Aboriginal name for 'The Sun'.

Since I arrived in Brisbane after 2 long plane trips from a remote community in Far North Qld my life has been full of sunshine!

You see I was a 'camp dog' and was born and bred on the streets, growing up around lots of other dogs and the people in the community. I am a bit of a social butterfly, super friendly, a little bit cheeky and I get along with everyone.

Having had a couple of litters of puppies at a young age I was not a pretty sight before I came to Brisbane but Happy Tails saw potential in me. I've now been desexed and am getting my figure back ready to start my new life as a city girl.

Ideally, I would love my forever home to have another dog so I have some company and kids would be great too as I could take them for walks. I walk well on a lead so would enjoy the dog park as I could catch up with the locals once I'm there.

I am very friendly and affectionate and would love to be someones best friend and cuddle buddy.
