About Lola ~ 2 yo Siberian Husky (On Trial 9/9/18)
Lola is a friendly, playful and very intelligent 2 year old Siberian Husky. She is an active dog who just loves playing, going on walks and spending time with her family.
Lola’s family circumstances have changed, and she simply deserves more attention then they can give her at the moment. Lola loves going on daily walks and walks well when a harness is used, however she is very speedy and for that reason she is best when she stays on the lead. She responds to other dogs with excitement but is even more excited when she gets to meet new people!
Lola would make a wonderful companion to her new family, she is loyal, affectionate and if she could, she would happily spend the whole day by your side. Lola would do well with a young couple, a family with older children or a semi retired family who have time to take her outside for walks and plays. She is quite happy outside chewing on her bone and toys while her family spends the day at work, as long as she has some time together in the afternoon.
Lola is house trained and loves to be inside with her family but is also happy being outside where there is plenty of room to run and explore. Lola responds to basic commands and has attended puppy preschool and obedience training. Huskies can generally be described as being cooperative rather than obedient and companions rather than pets and this couldn’t be more true in Lola’s case.
We know she will make a wonderful, loving addition to any family who is lucky enough to adopt her.
If you are interested in meeting Lola please contact Sharron who is taking all enquiries for her on sstudley3@bigpond.com or text 0423 331057. Lola is located in East Maitland is available for adoption interstate.
Lola’s adoption fee is $250 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format:
https://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
or PDF: https://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
