About Bruce ~ 8 mo Rottweiler X (On Trial 8/9/18)
Introducing Bruce a beautiful big 8 month old Rottweiler x. Recently surrendered to Dog Rescue through no fault of his own, Bruce wasn’t in the best of conditions when arrived at his carers door, but with a lot of love and plenty of good food he’s now a healthy and very handsome young man.
Bruce has been taught the basic commands such as sit, drop and stay and is eager to please. He's full of energy, did I mention "FULL OF ENERGY" and very fun loving. Bruce is always ready for a run and play. He loves fetch and tug-a-war, is very playful, a little cheeky and very responsive to commands.
Bruce has been an outside dog but does comes inside for a cuddle every now and then. He loves attention and would suit someone that has extra time just for for him.
Bruce will need a good size yard and good fences. He does dig a little but is getting better at not digging, it’s more of a boredom thing I think.
Bruce hasn’t been around cats so not 100% how he would go, apparently at his last home he was with other dogs but I can’t confirm that, he would mostly suit older children mainly because of his size.
Bruce has the most beautiful and gentle nature the above subjects would be best trialed to see how he goes. Bruce is the usual 8 month old very friendly puppy, the only difference is his size, he is a big boy. He is very much loved by his foster mum and would really like to see him go to someone that will love him as much as he will love them, Bruce is very affectionate and deserves a great forever home.
For more information or to meet Bruce, please contact his foster carer Robyn on R.L.M@bigpond.com.au Bruce is in foster care in Medowie, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bruce’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format:
https://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
or PDF: https://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
