About Missy
Weighing in at 13.5kg, Missy is a high energy little bundell of cuteness! Missy loves other dogs and of course her humans and she LOVES to play. The ideal home for Missy would be one where she has another young doggy sibling who she can spend her time playing with. We would like to find Missy a home with an active family and where she will have plenty of room to run and burn of her energy. Acreage would be perfect! Since coming into care, this beautifully natured girl has learnt to sit in a row with her foster siblings to be fed, has learnt to sit before crossing the road and is learning to obey hand signals. She is one very smart cookie. Missy is a water baby and enjoys puddle hopping, wave jumping and chasing the water jet from the hose. As Missy is still young, she still gets excitable but is learning which behaviours are acceptable and which are frowned upon. She is very responsive to correction and is continuing to grow more beautiful with each passing day.
Adoption details
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email dianne.north@hotmail.com
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
