Child friendly (but older given his size), dog friendly, cat uncertain.

A reluctant surrender due to unexpected allergies in the family, Diesel is a big bundle of goofy who loves cuddles from his people, and play time with his doggy pals. Being only 10 months old, he’s still puppy like and high energy at times, but is happiest when lying on your feet getting a tummy scratch or sleeping near the heater.

Currently living with two other medium to large dogs and would probably prefer to have a doggy pal at his new home. He’s still a work in progress with his two feline house mates, but has learnt to ‘leave’ and is becoming used to them being around. Being such a big boy, a house without small children or animals would probably be best however.

Fully toilet trained, Diesel has good recall and walks wonderfully on lead. He has learnt to wait to be asked before coming inside (most of the time!), will get on his bed on command, and has understood that indoors is for quiet time. Given his size, ongoing training will keep his indoor time enjoyable for everyone (he likes to ‘forget’ the human couches aren’t for him sometimes!). He’s smart, quick to learn, and will make a fantastic addition to a family looking for a big dog to love.
