About Rocco ~ Bullmastif x Great Dane (on trial 6/8/18)
My name is Rocco and I am a sweet 6 month old Bullmastiff x Great Dane. I am super affectionate and have a lot of love to give to my new family. I respond best with large breed dogs that I can learn skills from as I am still a puppy.
I love play time with people or other companions but can also be left at home during the day - but please leave me with toys so I don’t get bored. I can get growly towards other dogs around food, but I am best separated at this time due to my history of not knowing when I would get food.
My foster family considers me to be a fast learner. They have taught me to sit, stay and toilet trained me, with some more patience and training I would make the ideal family member.
I may be a big puppy but I love being a lap dog and getting pats and cuddles. Any type of affection will win my heart over. I am friendly towards other dogs and cats and love making new friends. I hope you consider me as your new furry friend, as I am ready to find my furr-ever home!
As Rocco isn’t desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's older.
For more information or to meet Rocco, please contact his foster carer Lauren on ms.lauren.hay@gmail.com Rocco is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Rocco’s adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
