About Honey ~Cattle Dog x Great Dane (on trial 11/10/18)
Hi my name is Honey and I am Cattle Dog x Great Dane girl. I am 4 years old, very fun loving ‘goofball’ because I think I am little but I’m actually just over 30kg.
I love to play and run and I can run very fast so I would not suit a family with elderly or very
young people as I may knock them over. Also I’m a good jumper so I would definitely need high fences.
I love laying in the sun or in front of the fire inside. My human says I need to recharge my solar
panels haha. I am not a dog that is in your face, I know when and where I should sit though I do love cuddles. I'm well behaved and walk well on a lead. I have gone on camping trips to the beach and loved it and I travel really well in the car. I also love to swim or stand in water when it’s hot. A game of fetch or a game of chase with both humans and other dogs is a favourite as well.
I have basic training, can sit, stay, come when called, I understand the words “toilet“ and “bed”. I will let you know when I need to go out for a toilet break.
I have been exposed to horses, cows, chooks and I don’t chase them but never been exposed to cats. I can be a bit unsure of other dogs but if they are friendly I will be fine.
My ideal home is somewhere I am loved and am an integrated member of the family. I do need an active lifestyle and be included in outings and walked everyday. I have never slept outside so do need a spot on my bed inside.
If you are interested in meeting me, Sharron is taking all enquiries, please email her sstudley3@bigpond.com I am located at Dora Creek and I’m available for adoption interstate.
Honey’s adoption fee is $250 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy dog.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom of the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
