About Moose ~ Bull Arab x Bandog (on trial 30/9/18)
Moose is a striking 9 week old brindle Bull Arab x Bandog puppy with a roly poly face and floppy ears. He is a sweet, sensitive soul and loves to be involved in anything that is happening. He loves a lap to snuggle on, and someone to play with be it another dog, puppy or human.
Moose has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. At the moment Moose has a doggy family of 2 dog siblings and 1 foster puppy sibling. He’s met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Moose needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside. At the moment Moose sleeps inside in his crate with his foster puppy brother. Moose is currently toilet training.
Moose will grow up to be a large dog and will need to go to a family with experience of owning a large dog. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. His new family will need to be patient with him as he is still a puppy and likes to play and chew. It is recommended to take all puppies to puppy-training classes and continue training at home too.
Special care is going to be needed with Moose as he is growing so quickly. Moose will need 3 meals a day for another 4-5 months.
Moose will really benefit from companionship and will thrive in a family when there is another friendly adult dog or someone at home with him.
As Moose is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom of the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
