About Woody ~ Cattle Dog (on trial 25/10/2018)
Hello everyone, my name is Woody, I’m a beautiful 2 year old Australian Blue Cattle Dog. I have a lot of energy and I’m always ready to do something fun with you. Even though I’m slowly passing through my teenager years, I’m well behaved and always keen to learn new tricks and try to make you happy.
Since I’ve been with my foster family I have learnt to swim and to go get the ball and bring it back. It was hard but I managed because I am really loyal and I care a lot for my family. I love playing with the ball at the beach and at the park and would run all day for it and bring it back or even play with it by myself. I am however not obsessed with it.
I also love to socialise and play with other friends. With humans, I am very obedient, respectful and always respond to my name. I sit whenever you ask me to and can even high five you when you say “check” to me. Like I said I’m still in my teenage time and as I am learning not to be so energetic and enthusiast and at times I can be a little over the top. Sometimes I might nip at strangers when they come around my territory however I have learnt not to do it when you look at me and say no, then I won’t. That’s the reason why I am only suited for experienced dog owners because I mean well and don’t want my behaviour to be taken the wrong way.
Oh and I almost forgot, we can even say now since really recently that I am cat friendly. I have a new buddy at home and it is a little kitten. Who would have thought that about me! And it was easy to get used to her! Now we even sleep and play together all the time.
During the day I am outside playing my other dog friends and at night I can come in and sleep inside. I love to cuddle and especially when you guys scratch my belly it makes me so happy. I love resting close to you and showing you my affection. If you forget me outside too long I would dance next to the window and remind you that I am here. This is so cute and also so funny at the same time, you just can’t resist! Anyway, please, come and have a meet me, I'd love my very own forever home and a forever loving family who would be lucky to have me.
