About Dash
Dash the Flash is looking for his new best friend!
Dash is on the hunt for his forever family!
A super smart and affectionate boy with loads of personality, Dash has learned all his commands in Auslan due to the fact he’s partially deaf! Don’t let that turn you off him though as if you didn’t know, you’d never be able to tell. Dash looks to his handler to “check in” and see if they have a sign for him, but otherwise he’s very much a normal puppy!
Dash is fully crate trained and will put himself to bed at night or when he’s feeling scared. He is learning the big wide world out there is lots of fun and loves going for walks and jogs. Dash loves to bring you presents so if it’s not nailed down and fits in his mouth, you can bet that it’s going to be handed to you! When his foster mum gets home from work, Dash runs to get her a “welcome home” gift – so far she’s been given toys, socks, a hairbrush, the cat’s toys, and a nail file!
Dash is looking for a family who will devote as much love to him as he wants to give to them! He loves other dogs but always defers to his person. Dash would do well in a family where someone was home with him a lot. Otherwise, he’s happy to be left in the yard as long as he has a friend to play with! He currently lives with a kelpie and two cats, who he likes a little too much so supervision is a must.
Due to his hearing disability, Dash’s foster mum has offered to do training sessions with his forever family to help them settle in.

This is in no way an obligation to adopt but simply gives us some more information about the home, family and lifestyle you have to offer a new pet.
As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
