About Wombat
Wombat - is affectionate, quiet, gentle and a bit shy.
She was surrendered in a remote part of the NT as there were too many dogs in her previous home. It is now time for her to find her forever home having lived for years with lots of other dogs and been a great mum to her own pups.
Wombat is approx 2 - 3yrs old, a short small (not tiny) dog. She resembles a corgi/dachshund. But we have no idea of her breed as is the case with all the dogs we rehome.
In her new home, she will need the patience to learn to walk on the lead and get used to all the new sights and sounds. She has never been without company and may need time to learn to be alone, so don't know if she would suit a full-time worker.
Wombat also needs to lose a few kilos
Wombat has access to inside and out and toilets outside but sleeps inside.
She has spent time with cats but not other animals other than dogs.
In her new home, she will need the patience to learn to walk on the lead and get used to all the new sights and sounds. She has never been without company so will need time to learn to stay alone, so don't know if she would suit a full-time worker.
Wombat will be rehomed desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, lifetime registered and parasite treated
She flew from Alice Springs to Sydney and is in foster care in Kingsford near the University of NSW.
