About Kendo
Meet the wonderful Kendo!
It doesn’t matter where he goes or who he meets, it seems that everybody loves Kendo. This beautiful boy has a fit physique with a lovely black coat, unique scruffy beard and a curled tail. He often has a relatively serious looking face, but don’t let that fool you as he is really a goofy boy at heart! He thoroughly enjoys a good game of tug-of-war and likes to explore new places.
Kendo loves nothing more than meeting new dogs! He has been well socialised with dogs of all ages and sizes. At the park, he will introduce himself to all the dogs and say "Hello!" until he finds a dog that wants to play with him. His favourite game is chase and he loves to race around with his doggie friends at the park. His favourite times of the day are his morning and afternoon walks. This relatively active boy will need daily exercise to keep him physically and mentally healthy. So long as he gets his daily exercise, Kendo is content to just enjoy his day, taking a well-earned snooze or having a sunbake in the yard.
This smart boy knows basic commands like sit, drop, stay and shake. He loves food and is a quick learner, so he will be easy to train further. He would need a family who is committed to furthering his training so that her remains a well-mannered boy. He is still quite excited when he ventures out for his walks and is currently working on his lead skills. He needs an experienced owner who can provide leadership and guidance so he doesn’t think he is in charge. Kendo must have been a soldier in his past life as he loves to keep to a daily routine. He is crate trained and will walk in by himself at bedtime. He is well behaved around the house and knows exactly when and where to sit to get his dinner.
We are looking for an active and experienced home where Kendo will be a part of the family but still have boundaries and rules in place. He should be an only dog in his new home as he likes to be the center of attention but he still needs to get out for some socialisation. As he is a larger dog, he would be best suited to older or more dog savvy children. He should be allowed inside to be with the family and would need a warm and comfy bed to sleep in at night. This quirky character is bound to make you laugh and will be a great companion for adventures.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
