Ostara

Gorgeous is an understatement when describing this girl!

This is Ostara who is one of the most beautiful dogs you will ever meet. She is absolutely gorgeous to look at with her dark glossy coat, velvety ears and stunning markings. But she also has a wonderful and gentle personality. Ostara is super sweet and loving. She would chose to be by your side over anything else. This girl is an awesome snuggler and can often be found curled up on the couch with her carer. An invitation onto the bed would never be refused either. Ostara is looking for someone to love as she has so much to give, and loves to receive pats and cuddles in return.

Ostara is very social with other dogs but still gaining her confidence. She has lived with other dogs very harmoniously and has started to make some doggy friends that she can run around and play with. It would be very beneficial for Ostara to be in a home with another friendly dog who would be able to show her the way and provide companionship; however, it is not considered essential if she is getting regular socialisation outside of the home. She is a smaller large dog at approximately 27kg and will require daily exercise to keep her healthy and happy throughout her life.

During her time in care, Ostara has been brushing up on her basic training. She can sit and drop for a treat, and is fantastic off lead - never straying far. On lead she is less confident but is improving daily. Ostara will require an experienced home who can continue to provide some basic training and confidence building. She is also great in the car and toilet trained.

We are looking for an experienced home where Ostara will be considered a part of the family. She would do best with another friendly and gentle dog for company but is fine to be an only dog if someone is home more often than not to give her the attention that she deserves. Ostara is cat friendly (though will bound after them if they run), and is best suited to slightly older or dog savvy children just due to her size. She should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night as she does feel the cold. This darling girl will make the most wonderful dog for the right family and provide years of love and loyalty.
