About Willow
Gorgeous Willow is a 11 month old dachshund x kelpie who is on the lookout for her perfect forever home.
Willow is 10.5kg so still only a small girl but has bundles of character and energy. At first willow can get nervous of new people but once she knows you is your best friend and loves cuddles.
Her favourite game is fetch - with anything, either a ball or stick, she doesnt care. She loves other dogs and seems more confident with dogs than people. Willow is good with older children but gets a bit worried with younger kids who dont respect boundaries. Willow would be best suited in a home with older children as young children scare her. She also prefers a quiet calm home and would probably be well suited to a retired person.
Willow does show signs of seperation anxiety if left alone so needs someone who is home alot to love and make her feel secure. She is great with other dogs and would probably benefit from having another dog for company to help with her anxiety. She currently has an adaptil collar which seems to help. Willow will need someone patient and understanding to help her overcome her anxiety.
Willow is in foster care in Kempsey NSW and is ready and waiting for her perfect forever home.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
