About Hitch
A little bundle of love! Please meet Hitch, a Chihuahua x born on 1st July, 2017 and who can't wait to find his forever home.
Hitch is a friendly little guy who enjoys meeting new people and receiving lots and lots of attention! While he does enjoy being out and seeing the sites of the world, he prefers to be carried! He is currently learning that the lead isn't a bad thing and as each day passes he is getting better and better at walking on his lead. In a home environment and with a regular routine he should continue to improve. To help with this continued training, we have included 3 x free training lessons in his adoption fee with thanks to Wyong Dog Training.
He is a sweet and happy little guy who does like to make new doggy friends. While he was interested in the chickens, he did not bark or try to chase them and we believe that he could be rehomed with pocket pets in residence with a proper introduction. Hitch was not a fan of the cats and would be best not to be rehomed with a cat in residence.
Hitch shows no signs of food aggression or seperation anxiety, however he does startle easily and would need to be allowed inside during thunderstorms and fireworks where he knows he is safe.
Hitch's beautiful affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around at all times. He is a stunning boy who would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family and is involved in the day to day activities. Hitch will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
This incredibly beautiful young man will make a loyal companion and wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Hitch does hold his back left up at times. After consultation with 2 x vets, it was their advice that as it is not causing him any discomfort, there is no further treatment required at this time - however new owners should be aware that this may change in the coming years.
Hitch's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Hitch is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Adoption details
Please phone or email us to find out more information on our animals. You will be asked to fill in a questionnaire. This questionnaire is confidential and does not oblige you to adopt, or guarantee you the animal. The information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once the questionnaire and any questions you may have are approved and answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
