About Millie
MILLIE is affectionately known by her foster family as 'Miss Millie Moodles'.
We have a message from Millie's foster mum to help us Millie find her own forever family .....
Millie is a high energy kinda dog with a lot of love to give. She’s so affectionate, it borders on needy lol. She seems to bond best with females and follows me around the house constantly, doing typical bulldog heavy breathing or giving your leg or hand a quick lick so you don't forget she’s there. If I’m not here, you’ll find her on my eldest daughters (10) bed cuddling and watching Youtube videos. Being someones BFF and included in everything that's going on is Millie’s happy place - she’s an ideal companion. She’s also a great 'guard dog', and has a loud bark but only uses it when she thinks there's a security concern.
Millie’s been great with kids of every ages she’s met while in foster care with us. She loves going for a walk, and the more she’s walked the better behaved she is, although we still only take her out at night to avoid other dogs because she isn't a fan of other dogs encountered on the street and at the vet.
Millie loves her food, and has got so much better at dinner time now she's well fed - she’ll sit and wait and do her funny “smile” while you put her bowl down. The only thing Millie hates is the vacuum cleaner, other than that she loves and will lick to death every single person or thing she meets!
We are looking for a forever home for Millie where she is the only pet - Millie isn’t a fan of dogs she doesn’t know or sharing attention from her humans, and isn’t good with cats either.
Millie is currently fostered in Melbourne, if you are located in Victoria and would like to adopt Millie please send the #bullycrew at Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club a message and submit an application https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply
P.S Millie walks well on the lead (once she gets going) and sits well at the street kerb before crossing. Millie does still need some help to keep calm and not get distracted when she encounters other dogs whilst on a walk. A new owner who is confident walking Millie and can put in some time so that she knows she doesn't need to protect you will be of great benefit.
Medical notes
Millie is microchipped, desexed & up to date with vaccinations. Being a bulldog, it is important that Millie eats a good quality food so that she has nice skin & coat.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
