About Jackš
Jackš Now welcoming expressions of interest. Jack is a 6.5 year old Miniature Pinscher. He cane into care missing an eye & his remaining eye had had surgery & a new lens to enable him to see once again. His vision is now good, however he will require visits to the eye specialist regularly for the rest of his life that will become the responsibility of his adopters. He also came emaciated & with terrible skin, Jack is now thriving in foster care & his skin is well controlled with a holloistic, premium quality diet & an anti inflammatory supplement. Jack also has s loose patella , however at this stage is doesnāt need surgery & it is stabilised with regular Pentosan (Cartrophen) injections. Due to Jacks ordeal of languishing in the pound alone and blind, he now suffers from acute separation anxiety. We are looking for somebody to love and cherish him who understands this & is home a lot / works from home. Jack is a busy boy like most of his breed! He dislikes the cold & he benefits from wearing a jumper to keep him warm. He makes a great hot water bottle & tunnels under the doona. He loves to curl up with you on the couch or in bed with you. He is a house dog & can not be left outside, however we feel Jack would benefit from a doggy door to learn how to go outside to the toilet independently. He has an engaging personality, super friendly with everybody he meets, great with other dogs, cats, chickens & farm animals. Jack is a great watch dog too! The ideal home we are seeking for Jack is with another little dog & a house where somebody is home the majority of the time. He will require ongoing extra special care for the rest of his life, so please factor in the financial costs when you are thinking of applying to adopt Jack. You will be rewarded tenfold by all the love & personality this little man has. Once you have been owned by a Miniature Pinscher you will never look back.
Medical notes
Jack has had eye surgery to renew his sight and will require regular visits to specialist. Skin needs to me monitored and good diet. Patella issue controlled by pentasan
