About Deanie (CaV18-241)
Well hi there. Pleased to meet you! My name is Deanie.
You may have noticed that I'm awfully good looking but I have great news - my personality is even more attractive!
You pretty much can't go wrong. I'm ridiculously smoochy and love a good pat and a bit of loving up. I'll flomp over on my side for maximum patting and I love to make puddings with my paws (which means I'm really happy!)
I have been living on the streets for a while but you wouldn't know it from my nature, that's for sure. I'm definitely keen on settling down now though.
I will be happy in basically any home. I'm okay around dogs and other cats - of course I'll need a slow and sensible intro to any existing pets but that's par for the course. I am a big solid boy and have only been recently desexed so if you already have a strong-natured male cat there's a chance we could clash - it's by no means a definite, but in that case the intro should just be extra cautious.
Living with kids would suit me fine, I'm pretty tolerant and not too spooked by loud noises and so on. Of course, again, a settling in period will be required but over-all I'll be happy with small people around.
I am going to need you to brush my magnificent coat a couple of times a week to help keep me in tip top condition, but that's not a big drama.
I don't think there's much more for me to tell you, except to ask - what are you waiting for?!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
