About Willow ~ Staffy X (on trial 4/8/18)
This gorgeous dog is Willow, a 3 year old Staffy X who is medium size and a real snuggle pot. She likes nothing more then to be around you and follow you wherever you go. If you are looking for a dog for a companion, look no further.
Willow is a sweet girl who loves her cuddles and has a beautiful nature.
Willow came from a country pound so we are unsure of her history. She hasn’t been exposed to young children, cats or pocket pets so not sure how she would be. We feel since she likes to be around her people that she would like all the attention for herself so best without another dog.
Willow loves to keep you company and will stay close by. She sleeps inside and she is toilet trained. Willow isn't interested in playing fetch or with balls. She likes going for walks, is fascinated by all those great smells (and who isn't) but doesn't pull. Willow tends to ignore other dogs when out walking but she isn’t the dog that enjoys the dog park as finds it overwhelming.
Willow's perfect home would be with someone who is home more often than not maybe someone who is retired or semi retired who wants a great companion dog. We feel like she wouldn’t be suitable with children under 12 years old but teenage kids would be great.
If you are interested in meeting Willow please contact John by emailing johnpgid@yahoo.com.au Willow is in care in Medowie and is available for adoption interstate.
Willow’s adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
