About Bruno ~ Bull Arab x Catahoula (on trial 18/9/18)
Bruno is a very happy go lucky 8 week old Bull Arab x Catahoula puppy. He was the smallest of his litter, but makes up for his size with his personality.
Bruno is very inquisitive and brave. He is very well socialised and loves playing with any other dog he meets and often tackles his bigger foster brother puppy to the ground.
Bruno loves people, and is very friendly and affectionate with anyone new he meets. He loves following us around and being near us, although he is independent enough to take himself to his crate to sleep when he’s tired. Bruno has also recently started taking himself outside when he needs to go to the toilet.
Bruno needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Bruno will grow up to be a medium-large dog and will need to go to puppy training classes and training at home too. His new family will need to be patient with him as he is still a puppy and likes to play and chew. Bruno will need 3 meals a day for another 4-5 months and currently needs to be taken out to toilet in the middle of the night.
Bruno is still learning and needs to be loved by somebody who is committed to his ongoing training. It would be a plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a companion and playmate for Bruno as he has had constant companionship of two larger dogs and a puppy. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone at home with me while he settles in.
As Bruno is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Bruno in Fern Bay, speak to my foster mum Aimee at aimeekwolf@gmail.com

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom of the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two-week trial begins on the day of adoption.
