Tessa

Hi, I’m Tessa. I’m just like a regular Labrador, but only two thirds as big and twice as friendly. I really like water, it’s so fun to splash in as well as to drink. Sometimes I even like putting my toes in the water bowl while I drink.

I love little people and big people and dogs. I’m sure I’d like cats too, but I haven’t met one yet. When I think it’s time that I get patted more, I tuck my nose in the crook of my foster Dad’s arm and nudge him, then do big smiling because I think that’s pretty clever.

I’ve been an outside dog in my past life. I know not to wee inside, but I’m just learning to hold it in overnight(it’s not easy when you like drinking water as much as I do). If I end up an inside dog, I will need encouragement and patience for the first week or two, and maybe not to be allowed a big drink before bedtime.

I’d be grateful to go to home where I’ll be loved and become part of a family, but I’d be so happy if you had a dog to be my brother or sister as well.
