About Steel (AV1034)
Handsome Steel is full of smooth moves, here and ready to woo you.
This lovely lad is many things but he is first and foremost described by all who meet him as, simply, "a really nice dog."
Steel found himself in the pound and his family didn't come to get him so here he is, in his absolute prime and looking for a new place to call his own.
Steel is a happy, bouncy boy who is waiting to be your best pal. He is an approx 5 year old Kelpie x Staffy who loves to chase the ball and bring it back; always a good thing when they return with it!
In foster care, Steel is living with another dog and a little flock of backyard chickens - he is generally very social with any dog he meets and he doesn't seem bothered by the chooks at all! We don't know whether Steel has lived with children before, but his friendly and happy nature suggests that he would be a lovely family dog. He is an affectionate and smoochy boy who enjoys pats and loves close physical contact. He would love to got on lots of walks and adventures to the beach and the park while being allowed to spend plenty of time in the house being included as part of your family.
Steel is a smart boy, believed to have staffy, kelpie and german shepherd in him. He already knows basic commands (and will pick up others quickly) plus he has pretty good manners on-lead (after the initial excitement!) and comes back when he's called too!
Steel really is an all-round awesome dog with a winning personality. Come and meet him today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
