Kasey

There is no mistaking the distinctive tail wag and bottom wiggle of a Labrador, and Kasey is certainly a fine example of the breed's fun and friendly character. This boy arrived at the shelter a little nervous but was ready to socialise in no time, and is more than ready to start his next big adventure in a new home.

Kasey is a young fellow who would appreciate an active family to include him in daily adventures; whether it is a walk about the neighbourhood, a family camping trip, or a game of backyard soccer, Kasey is ready for it all! Kasey may be a little goofy but he is also clever; expanding his admirable repertoire of tricks should be easy for this food motivated boy. Staff have discovered that he already knows a trick or two, shaking paw, rolling over, and even playing dead on cue! While toys of all shapes and sizes take his fancy, Kasey would benefit from an opportunity to engage his brain while having fun, so a few good puzzle toys will be a must in his new digs.

Kasey has lived with another dog before and shows great spirit when it comes to playtime with other canines here at the shelter, so he would make a fun playmate for another dog. Be sure to bring your pooch to the shelter to meet him and see that it is a perfect match! His enthusiastic play style might also be a little overwhelming for the littlest human family members so Kasey will need to meet everyone in the household before he can be adopted.
