About Phantom
Meet Phantom, a small senior feline with a big youthful personality. As you can see from her photos, she is such a pretty kitty and believe me, she knows it!
Phantom will be the first to greet anyone to your home. Whether it’s you after a long day, or a visiting guest, she will be there to offer her affections. Using her charms to the max with a little meow and loving purr, you will struggle to find anyone that doesn’t instantly want to cuddle her.
Speaking of cuddles, she absolutely adores cuddle time. It’s her absolute favourite thing besides being brushed. Whether it be snuggles on your lap while you’re watching TV / reading / studying / having a cuppa, or being picked up and cradled like a baby for a smooch. This is her happy place and soon to be yours, too!
But it’s not all cuddles and smooches. Providing you with all that love and attention is tiring, so you will find her in favourite spots: at the end of your bed, a sunny window sill, or on some leaves in the garden – peacefully sleeping with the faintest snore. Like Darth Vader on low volume setting. It’s super cute.
After a recharging nap it’s time for some fun. She has her ‘crae crae’ moments. While she is not a hunter at all (she opts for bird watching over bird chasing), she does perform a fast-paced happy lap or two. One second she is snoozing, the next she is up running from one room to the next, and back again. If you’re lucky you will see her on-the-spot 360 tail chase manoeuvre, it’s hilarious!
Crazy doesn’t mean misbehaved, though. She is a considerate miss. She doesn’t scratch furniture, she doesn’t chew cables, she has zero litter accidents, and she loves to be brushed. She is not a fan of bath time or claw clipping, so you will need to engage tactical teamwork for that one. Thankfully she prides herself on looks and keeps herself very tidy, so it’s an infrequent mission.
Phantom has lots of experience meeting new humans of all ages and personality types, she is even fine with kids. If all gets a little too much for her, she simply takes herself off to a quiet corner for some alone time. No fuss there.
She is less experienced with other animals because she has been an only furbaby the majority of her life. Her experience is based on one kitty housemate several years ago. Like most introductions, there was an adjustment period. I found this worked best using gradual introduction using segregated zones, and plenty of human affection. She just wants to feel loved and adored, so as long as both kitties feel that, everyone will be happy.
And for the boring stuff:
• Latest vaccination was completed in July 2018
• Desexed and microchipped
• Approximately 14 years old
• Short-haired domestic cat, grey fur with white & grey markings
So, if you are looking for a loving and fun member for your household, and if you are happy to provide affection in return, please feel free to call or email me to arrange a meeting. I’m sure you will fall in love just as quickly as I did! I am happy to answer any additional questions you have while you experience some Phantom cuddles.
