About Cinderella (OaV-15)
Little Cinderella is a sweet but timid girl who didn't get a very good start in life but is looking to forge a happy future.
Cinderella came from a property where there was a very large number of guinea pigs, all breeding out of control and not being cared for appropriately. They lived in a big dirty shed where there wasn't enough food or water. Luckily most of them were able to be rescued and are now looking for new loving homes to have a second chance.
Cinderella was not handled at all by people when she was a baby and consequently she is very skittish. At this stage, she is not a piggy who will be suited to children or first-time piggy owners who want a little wheeper that they can pick up and snuggle right away - with time, patience and gentle handling we hope Cinderella can start to feel more safe with people but at this stage she's a real wriggle bottom and is not very comfortable being held.
She's social with other piggies and is not suited to living on her own as pigs are social critters who love company. Perhaps if you have a more confident, trusting, human-social pig looking for a new pal, they could teach Cinders a thing or two!
Cinders HAS NOT been desexed and will only be rehomed to a home with females, or sterilised males as we certainly don't want her to breed.
Cinderella is a small, petite piggy with a fun hair-style. She just needs someone to take a chance on her!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
