About Tess
*tess is currently trialling her new home* we just adore tess!!
when sarg’s wonderful assessor first met this quiet, frightened girl at the pound she was concerned that her slightly protruding right eye and old head scars might’ve been due to being hit by a car or worse still, abuse by a human, but according to our vet, who found 2 old puncture wounds in her skull, she would’ve been attacked by a dog when she was a little pup. As you can see from tess's latest photos her eye is looking much better after a couple of visits to the vets and some tlc which is great news!
we think tess is really quite special and would love to see her in a wonderful, caring home of her own. Her foster carer tells us tess is very intelligent and is quickly picking up basic commands. Tess would do well in obedience and agility classes. Tess is only small and quite fine boned and has such lovely manners when she's around people. She's friendly and affectionate and enjoys receiving attention and affection and will curl up in your arms or roll onto her back for a much-loved belly rub!!! she has fun playing with children too and is fabulous with other dogs!
tess didn't have any lead experiece when she was first rescued but she's picked it up very quickly and now enjoys her walks! we think she’d be happy to share her life with another lovely gentle dog who she could learn from. Tess is just so sweet you can’t help but feel your heart melt when you meet her so please contact sarg if you think you've got the perfect loving home for her!
