Mia is a beautiful 3 year old greyhound who loves to live her life to the fullest. She spends most of her day lazing around the yard getting her vitamin C and catching up on her beauty sleep. She will politely greet you at the door and looks forward to her morning pats. Mi Mi (as we have nicknamed her) has a wonderful temperament. Give her a treat and you're likely to become her friend for life! Greyhounds are docile and quiet and Mia is a world-class napper. She loves the car and takes this as another opportunity to sprawl out and relax. She is intelligent and independent and even catlike in some ways. Mia is affectionate with the whole family and showers everyone with her love.

Mia gets along with all dogs, however she gets excited when around smaller dogs and animals, therefore a home with medium-larger dogs would suit, or even a home where Mia is the only pet and she can be left to shine. Homes with birds, cats, rabbits or chickens is not suited.

Facts about the breed:

- Greyhounds make great apartment or small yard pets as they have very little exercise needs and enjoy sleeping and relaxing for most of the day, however they do need their daily walk as they can get quite cramped up.

- Being a greyhound, Mia needs to wear a muzzle under NSW law due to her history of hunting foxes and rabbits.

- Breeds with very short coats such as Mia's makes them vulnerable to the cold.

-Greyhounds are known to be patient with children and step delicately around toddlers, however Mia can jump when excited.

- Greyhounds are very easy to groom with little on-going needs other than a regular wash and brush.
