About Missy Moo (CaV18-122)
Hi there, my name is Missy Moo and I'm the prettiest little girl. Look at all my gorgeous fluff!
I came into foster care with my mum and my 3 sisters. I spent a long time with SAFE Avon Valley as a young, scared kitten and then finally went to a home on Monday the 30th of July. I was a very shy little girl and still am very shy and still go into hiding sometimes.
In the beginning I was really scared and didn't know where I was so I spent some time in the spare room so that I could settle down a little bit. Mummy came in and spent time with me and I was starting to come out from my hiding spot to see Mummy and liked the attention. After a couple of weeks I was laying on the couch and Mummy's bed and her other cat had stopped being mean to me and started licking me and playing with me.
But then the other kitty realized I was staying and she started getting very jealous and attacking me and Mummy. She was very, very heartbroken to have to say goodbye to me but the other kitty was there first and she loved her too so Mummy let me come back to the nice people at SAFE who promised to find me another home where I will be loved.
My favourite toys are balls with bells in them and when they go rolling I go chasing after them. I love my big scratchy post a lot too; it’s great fun to climb. I would like a kitty friend that is playful because we can have a lot of fun together but also other kitties help me feel safe and I can come out of my shell some more. Eventually I will come up to you and rub up against you for attention or even come to sit on the lounge next to you and talk to you and will absolutely love all the attention.
I like to be brushed but I have never been outside and the world would be way to big and scary for me to suddenly be out in it so please keep me safe indoors forever. I have a very sensitive tummy and it has taken a while to work out the best food for me but my Mummy worked out that wet food is bad and a good quality dry food keeps me healthy and happy.
I'm quite timid and startle easily, so a quiet home with a patient and loving person is where I will be happiest. I love other cats and would really love to have a little kitty friend that you know likes to have other cats around.
I am very chatty at night and this is when I am most confident so I would be great for someone who likes to stay up late. I'm a super sweet, affectionate and loving girl once you get to know me, it just takes me some time to build my confidence!
Please give me a chance, you won't regret it!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
