About Jet DL1966
Are you looking for a chilled out snuggle buddy? Look no further than Jet.
Jet has been surrendered to DFL through no fault of his own and at 10 years old, is more than deserving of a quiet retirement home. At his happiest curled up on the couch beside you, Jet still has a little pep to his step and enjoys his daily walks and occasional trips to the beach. At his age, Jet is a calm dream on lead; he doesn't pull, just likes to potter along at his own pace.
He has met other doggies while out and about and doesn't mind them much, but would prefer a very chilled out dog in his home (or to be your one and only!) He has also met children while out and thinks they're pretty great, but we think a home with calm kids over the age of 10 would be best! Jet has lived with cats before.
A clever boy, Jet is good with recall, fully house-trained, and knows his basic commands! What a dream. He does get a little lonely when left alone for long periods of time and will let you know it ;) For this reason, Jet would suit a retired person or someone who is home often - he desperately wants to be with his humans all the time and to be a core part of the family.
If you think you have the slow-paced lifestyle for this darling old boy, contact dfladoption@gmail.com for an expression of interest form.
Medical notes
Jet has a skin condition that needs attending to as well as issues with his eyesight and a touch of arthritis. He's currently 3kg into his weight-loss journey on a vet-suggested diet.
