About Dughul ~ Wolfhound x Pointer (on trial 7/9/18)
Meet Dughul, a striking Pointer cross Wolfhound mix. He is 12 weeks old and loves a lap to snuggle on. He was one of 13 and has overcome so much in his short life. He is a little slower than his siblings, making him calm and gentle. He needs understanding and love, he thrives on companionship. His big bones are slowly growing, so he must be kept on a big puppy diet.
Dughul sleeps inside in the laundry with his siblings and loves wrestling with them during the day. Toilet rolls are the best!! He also uses puppy pads and newspapers to toilet on.
Dughul’s new family will need to take him places to see new and exciting things so that he becomes the best family doggy he can be. He is still learning and needs to be loved by somebody who is committed to his ongoing training.
If you would love for Dughul to be a part of your family, he'd love to tell you what he is looking for:
* Someone who can spend time teaching me
* I'd prefer somebody home but if you have a furry friend to keep me occupied then that would be ok too.
* I need high fencing (colourbond or timber) as I am going to grow into a big girl when I'm older.
As Dughul is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Dughul, please send the application form http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt.html to my foster mum Kelly on adoptmefromkelly@hotmail.com I am currently in foster care at Central Coast
Dughul’s adoption fee is $550 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
