Chester

Chester may only be 11 weeks old but boy does he have a story to share. This tiny baby was found laying in a gutter in a regional town, where people were just walking past him probably assuming he was dead as he was in such poor condition. Thankfully, a beautiful family saw Chester and scooped him out of the gutter and took him straight to a vet to get urgent care. It was very touch-and-go as to if Chester would survive as he was so skinny and weak, after not having any food or shelter in the cold winter. We dont know how Chester ended up all alone in a gutter but we are so glad he was found and given a chance. The wonderful family who found Chester knew he needed an experienced carer so they contacted us and we flew Chester down to Brisbane where he was collected by our Kitten Coordinator and taken to our wonderful vet in Graceville for further care. We were very worried for him as he was very sick with cat flu and he also required ultrasounds as his belly was so swollen.. we were worried he had fluid built up but it turns out the poor fellow had just over eaten, since he had gone so long without any food his stomach lining had thickened causing swelling of the abdomen.

BUT now our baby boy has got the all clear from our vets and is ready to find his new home!! He is the most adorable, cheeky little fella who loves to play and LOVES his food. He would do best in a home with another young cat to learn from and play with!
