About Honey
Hi there, my name is Honey.
I was surrendered to Lort Smith Adoption Centre via the hospital. I was admitted to the hospital as a patient as I was not well. I had an infected mammary gland, this was from feeding my pups and I was really very sore. My pups are fully weaned now and are healthy (my puppies were not surrendered with me). I am now ready to start looking for my new forever home.
When I first arrived here I was very scared, I did not know how to walk on a leash properly, I was worried about other dogs and would hold my head down low to the ground. I am now starting to gain confidence, I love people, I love to play with calm and well mannered canine friends, I am a super affectionate girl and really do love nothing more than cuddling with my human friends, I could literally do this all day long.
Ideally I am looking for a home where my human will be home quite often, will let me be inside with them as part of the family and will continue to work on confidence building and socialisation with me. I am an active girl so daily walks and mental stimulation is a must. I do get a little sad when I am left alone but music playing in the background really helps to settle me.
I get a little nervous of little humans, so a quieter home would be the best fit for me.
If you think I sound like I could be your perfect match, please give the Adoption Hub a call and drop by for some cuddles with me.
