About Peggy Sue DB401
Forever foster required
Peggy Sue is a sweet older lady who is looking for a best friend.
She is affectionate and always on hand with kisses and cuddles. She would make an excellent companion for retirees or someone who is home often.
Peggy doesn't seem to have had much to do with other dogs so will need careful introductions. She would like to be he only pet in the home. She has briefly met a few children and gave them kisses so may be ok with dog savvy kids.
She likes to get out on short walks and explore. Her fluffy tail shoots straight up in the air as she trots along.
Peggy Sue has cataracts but her vision doesn't seem to be overly affected at this point. She has some hearing loss. She has recently had some mammary cysts removed and is still healing from the surgery.
Peggy Sue has short legs and is quite solid and weighs 9.5kg. She can get underfoot a bit so this will need to be considered.
She is a companion dog and needs to be allowed inside and treated as a member of the family.
As a forever foster, Peggy Sue's vet bills will be covered by Dogs Behind Bars for the rest of her life.
