About Arrow
Arrow is a really lovely little guy. He is one of a litter of 10 puppies, and they all have really beautiful temperaments. Arrow loves to explore the natural world and play with sticks and leaves, but he also likes to have a game of tug with the puppy toys. Sometimes his mum takes his toy off him and it is really funny to see him running after her, yapping and telling her off. Arrow is a calm, confident , cooperative puppy. He can amuse himself with his toys or his littermates, but also loves a pickup cuddle as well. Some of the pups have really short sleek coats, but Arrow is a little bit fluffy and very soft. His mum is a lovely dog, and he takes after her.
Arrow was born a day after his mum Pip came into care from a remote community in the Top End of the NT. He is named for the distinctive white arrowhead marking on the back of his neck. His mum did a great job with the pups, keeping them spotlessly clean, warm and well fed. She weaned them naturally a 7 weeks so have had a really good start. Arrow loves his tucker and has thrived from the start. He is ready now to go out into the world and be a great mate to some lucky person.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Arrow's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Arrow is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
